CDC Falcon is a high yielding, winter
hardy, semi-dwarf, hard red winter wheat. CDC Falcon is a medium
maturity and has excellent winter hardiness for improved spring recovery and
ground cover. CDC Falcon provides excellent potential for irrigated
and intensive management programs and performs well under dry-land
production systems. The variety also possesses short stiff straw for
zero or minimum tillage systems. CDC Falcon has good stem rust
resistance, is moderately susceptible to leaf rust and is susceptible to
Fusarium head blight. |
