CDC Buteo is a high yielding, winter
hardy, medium height semi-dwarf, hard red winter wheat. CDC Buteo is a
medium maturity and has excellent winter hardiness resulting in outstanding
spring recovery and ground cover. CDC Buteo provides excellent
potential under dry land production systems. This variety is too tall
for irrigated production. CDC Buteo is a stay-green variety with good
stem rust resistance, is moderately susceptible to leaf rust and an MS-S
reaction to Fusarium head blight. |
